and only indexing method for Zebra 20 years ago.

In order to do very complex indexing strategies you should turn to the
DOM-XML model for indexing.. This type allows indexing of ISO2709 MARC as
well as MARCXML/MarcXchange.. The configuration is quite different and
you'd use XSLT to describe the transformation from MARCXML to "indexing"
XML.
