Hi Mark,

I'm using Delphi cgi extensions on a web server without having to register any yaz toolkit dlls. Placing them on the same folder as the extension is enough.

AFAIK, VBZoom uses com objects in MarcCharset.dll or VBZoomC.dll and they need to be registred.

Objet : [Yazlist] Using Yaz.dll without registering

I currently have a website for my school that is hosted by a third party service provider that does not allow win32 dlls to be registered on their servers. Our web is built on ASP.net 2.0 and we are currently developing a search function to query our library via a z39.50 connection. I have been trying to figure out a way to use the yaz.dll without registering the dll. I have tried both the VBZoom and Zoom.net visual studio projects, and looks like both of them require registering the dlls.
Does anyone have any ideas for me or know of any other implementations that I could leverage?
